Attention: Moms Who Want Help for
Dyslexic Children
"Here's How You Can Quickly and Easily
Get Help For Your Dyslexic Child.....Without
Spending Thousands of Dollars!
Guaranteed!"
Dear
Fellow Mom and Friend,
How Much Is It Worth To You To Get Your Child
Reading - Fluently and Independently?
Suppose you could easily achieve this from the
comfort of your own home - using the same
approach and lessons as the professionals - and
get your child to an 8th grade reading level
increasing their vocabulary by 4400 words?
Imagine...
Your child having the skills necessary to decode
85-90 percent of all words in the English
language and reading at an 8th grade level and
it didn't cost you thousands of dollars to
achieve this.....
Sounds To Good To Be True?...
Well, it isn't if you have the right
tools and resources.
Think about it. Reading is the most powerful and necessary skill
your child can attain. Reading is
key for learning and becoming a active
participant in the learning process and
society.
Children with reading difficulties at
the 3rd grade level tend to stay below the
reading level of their peers at age 18 and
beyond. Without intervention,
there is little that children (and adults) can
do to on their own to overcome this dilemma
(LTK, 2010).
Quite simply, if your child is has learning
disabilities and is struggling with language,
reading and writing, you need to intervene
sooner than later.
But Finding That Right Tool or Resource
Is The Hard Part...
It could take you years and can cost you a small
fortune to figure out just the
right approach that can make some
reading programs
work - while others fall flat.
Once you realize that Orton-Gillingham
is the approach to use, then you run into
roadblocks about certification.
You cannot just hire any teacher or tutor, they
MUST be certified.
If you are lucky enough to find a
specialist in your area that is certified, you
end paying up to $250 an hour for their help. If you choose the learning center
route, where all the center does, is offer you a
specialized program based on the
Orton-Gillingham approach, you can spend up to
$10,000 or more easily. The upper echelon
as a solution is sending your child to a
specialized school where the whole curriculum is
based on Orton-Gillingham and that could run you
anywhere from $35,000 and up.
I have what you want - the solution to your
problems!
Introducing ..... Language Tune-Up Kit at Home™
Help For Dyslexic Children - A Systematic, Structured, Explicit
Computer-Based Approach to Reading!
At Last, You Can Help Your Child to Learn to
Read at Home With a Fully Interactive
Orton-Gillingham Based Program! Your Child
Will Learn:
Phonemic Awareness -
children with reading challenges, the
first step you need to do is go back to
the foundations of language. You
need to teach your child that the words,
syllables have sounds associated with
them.
Phoneme/Graphemes - You
child needs to learn our language has
codes (letters) that represent sounds
and that sounds correspond to letters
(codes). This allows them to blend
phonics, spell and read words and
syllables.
Rules - For children with
reading challenges, our language code
does not make sense. It is
important that along the way to learning
about phonemes and phonological
awareness, they learn some of the rules
in the language. Knowing the
rules will help your child achieve more
success in reading and spelling.
Syllables - When your
child knows rules - for example - about
syllables, your child will recognize the
sound of the vowel in the syllable.
This helps your child with reading and
spelling.
*Orton-Gillingham - The program
uses this multisensory approach known as
Orton-Gillingham. The same
approach used by the professionals,
public schools, tutors, learning centers
and expensive private schools to help
your struggling reader learn to read and
create the neuropathways in the brain to
match those of a proficient reader.
But Don't Take My Word For It ...
Here's what LTK customers from all
over the country are saying about this unique
Reading Program:
From the parent of an
11-year-old boy:
"I bought the at home version of LTK and
I wanted to let you know that I am thoroughly
impressed with the software. I want to
express my appreciation to you for the
tremendous attention to detail and the
extraordinary amount of work it must have taken
to produce this program.
I am a mom of an 11 y/o dyslexic in
private Christian school. The school is
plowing new ground with my child. They are weak
in remediation. And so, I do the remediation for
my child. I was using the Scottish Rite's
program which at its very best was extremely
boring. Your program makes it possible for my
child to shoulder some of the responsibility for
his education.
I felt as though I was taking a little
risk, ordering your product sight unseen. As you are aware, there are so many
gimmicks out there just waiting to prey on
people who are forced to figure it out as they
go. Your product is top quality. I will tell
anyone who needs this kind of help where to get
it. Thank you again. You've provided a
tremendous service."
Thanks :) Anne in VA
"I had called in about my daughter's
problems with the LTK program. She had
started out on lesson 31 and was doing terribly.
It turns out that my daughter, who has a
complex language disorder (mixed
expressive-receptive language delay), had
actually MEMORIZED many words and had tested
higher than she could actually decode.
I moved her back to lesson 21 and now
she is on lesson 38 and reading and decoding
BEAUTIFULLY. She can read solid
second grade books with ease. Once she
gets used to reading chapter books, we will be
bumping her up to third grade chapter books. She
is in third grade and has gone from about a 1.2
decoding ability to almost third grade level in
about a month. This program has been phenomenal
in teaching her how to sound out words and blend
sounds. She is reading words she doesn't
even know, which is remarkable.
I will keep you posted on her progress, butI wanted to thank you for your amazing
program. It is taking her about an
hour, on average, to work through each lesson.
But the time spent is well spent in my opinion,
because she will no longer be behind other kids
her age in reading because of her language
delay."
From the mother of a 13-year-old boy:
"I am amazed that my son is now able to
read. He struggled for a long time and
has recently been diagnosed as having dyslexia.
He is currently on lesson 12 and is already
reading books!
At first I was skeptical that a software program
could help him, but it did! He spends
about 30 minutes per day on the Language Tune-Up
Kit At Home program, and he likes it!"
Thanks, from New Jersey:
"We ordered the LTK At Home for our
seven-year-old son who is having difficulty in
reading. We have had a tutor for him for
over one year. After ordering your program, we
canceled the tutor and just worked on the LTK.
He is responding very well to the lessons. In just seven lessons, he has shown more
interest in reading and sounding out
multi-syllable words that he would normally have
just ignored. "We know we still have a
ways to go. He has yet to pick up a book and
read it from start to finish. But, we know he is
well on his way to enjoying reading and
it has only been 2 weeks.
"I learned about the Orton-Gillingham Approach
from a friend who teaches in Jersey City. She
said they use the approach because it works well
with reading disabled students. I then went on
line and found your web page. We figured we
would give it a try. We have ordered other
programs, but our son was not interested in
working on them.
I have to say, yours is the first
program we have bought that is working.
I am a certified Teacher of Reading with a
Masters in Education. I would sincerely
advocate your program for anyone needing to see
improvement in their child's reading ability.
I wish it hadn't taken us a year to find it.
I hope others find out about your program".
From a full-time tutor working with children and
adults:
"Our LTK programs are bailing students out of
difficult situations every day. We've
had about 5 or 6 of our elementary school
students receive "Most Improved Student" awards
in the last year. That translates to
about 20% of our enrollees.
Two of those are now on the honor roll with A's
and B's in courses they previously had
difficulty getting passing test scores on...and
they were also up for ADD evaluation."
From a parent:
"Last year I ordered your product for my son to
supplement his school's reading program for
at-home use. I was very impressed with
your product and believe it assisted my efforts
to ensure my son would be one of the top readers
of his class."
From the parent of a 3rd grade girl:
"We purchased your software for our daughter who
is currently in grade 3. Our daughter entered
grade 3 reading at a grade 1.3 level. She had a
thorough assessment that revealed a
severe disability with respect to sound/symbol
relationships and with respect to sound blends.Outside of this she is a very bright
little girl. "I write to thank you for the
software.
For our daughter your software is perfectly
targeted to assist her. I confess that our
daughter does not show much enthusiasm for using
the software. This stems in large part from the
fact that confronting ones limitations head-on
is seldom fun.
Our daughter is currently in lesson 32.
In the past three months she has made the
enormous leap from arduous reading with little
to no comprehension (when decoding is so taxing
there is little room for comprehension) to being
able to pick up a book and read for pleasure.
Our daughter has always loved books and we read
to her regularly. She is not currently reading
advanced books, however, she is able to
currently read books that are appealing to
children of her age. In recent testing
her reading level has already risen to the
mid-grade 3 level.
Close inspection of her results show that she
has greatly improved her "word attack" skills.
Reading is still a chore for her, however, it is
now a viable part of her life. We are
grateful to you for your efforts to assist the
reading disabled and we look forward to the
continued benefits that she will receive from
completion of the remaining lessons. We
have recommended your software to another family
with a reading disabled daughter. They have
bought the software and are also very pleased.
We have also forwarded your written material to
a psychologist that will refer her clients to
your web site."
I know you're probably still skeptical and a bit
on the conservative side, but think about this -if you keep doing the same things over
and over again - you'll only succeed in getting
the same results. That's why I want to
let you try out this proven LTK at Home Program
- completely and totally risk-free! (I'll
tell you about my unique guarantee in a moment.)
How Does It Work?... (See Sneak Peek Below)
LTK
begins instruction by teaching the sounds
made by letters, then 3-letter words.
The multi-sensory
techniques employed by the program include
visual, auditory and tactile-kinesthetic.
The student will
receive up to ten repetitions of each sound,
letter or word. If 80 percent mastery is
achieved, the lesson continues with the next
activity.
At the end of each of
the LTK lessons, there is a quiz that
appears to the student as a game.
There are over 1400
lesson instructions and over 150 help
instructions recorded for the student.
All primary phonetic
letter combinations have an accompanying
graphic for reinforcement. These graphics,
keywords and spelling rules are integrated
with the software and are printed on 108
cards in the LTK card deck.
All new words are
presented in strict sequence that relies on
letters and letter-sound combinations
previously mastered by the student.
Lessons 1-10 review the alphabet, teach
3-sound, 3-letter words, and basic word building rules.
Lessons 11-22 teach initial and final
blends. Within Lessons 1-22 there are approximately 800 words.
Lessons 23-41 teach basic silent-"e" rules,
digraphs, long vowel sounds and long vowel teams: 890 words.
Lessons 42-59 teach closed, two-syllable
words, final consonant "le" rules, and the letter "y" sounds: 650 words.
Lessons 60-75 teach "r"-controlled rules and
sound combinations, more on vowel teams: 740 words.
Lessons 76-87 address digraphs, suffixes,
hard/soft "c" and "g", silent letters and numbers: 620 words.
Interspersed are review lessons.
Over 4400 words are
available within LTK. All of them are
recorded in human voice.
All sentences and
stories contain only words previously taught
to the student.
There are over 4000
unique sentences and 250 stories for
practice and word recognition.
LTK includes a
Placement Test to automatically determine
the appropriate beginning lesson number for
each student.
LTK provides an
optional Auditory Assessment test to
determine whether or not the student is
capable of understanding the differences in
letter and word sounds. If the student is
unsuccessful in this test, he or she will be
asked to seek out help to assist with the
lessons.
A series of
familiarization exercises teach the student
how to use the mouse, keyboard, and the LTK
screen control objects required to use the
program successfully.
